New Years Eve Kirtan at Karuna Yoga Northampton Massachusetts

What a wonderful way to ring in the Gregorian New Year. Amidst First Night Celebrations in Northampton Massachusetts the sweet sounds of Kirtan arose from Karuna Yoga. As you can see in the photo above many of the Kirtan community braved the deep cold to create an atmosphere of grace. Many of the local Kirtan Community lead the chanting with area musicians accompanying. This photo was taken about an hour in at the first break, and many more folks came after that to chant with us, my guess would be that about 40 people chanted that night.
